We created this utility to solve a common problem: turning a digital screen into a reliable, actual-size ruler for quick measurements without searching for physical tapes or rulers.

Why Calibration Matters

A standard web browser doesn't know the physical size of your monitor or smartphone display. If a webpage draws a line that is "96 pixels" long, it might measure exactly one inch on an older desktop monitor, but only a tiny fraction of an inch on a modern high-resolution iPhone or MacBook display. Without accurate display detection or manual calibration, any digital ruler is merely an estimate.
